The purpose of this research was to evaluate the satisfaction rate of the sacrificers from the way of organizing the martyrs' cemetery. Instrument & Methods: In this descriptive study, in 2013, 372 people from sacrificers in Golestan province (Gorgan, Bandar-e Turkaman and Aliabad Katoul) were selected by stratified random sampling and entered the study. The research instrument was a demographic questionnaire and a researcher-made questionnaire to assess the satisfaction of the sacrificers from the manner of organizing the martyrs' cemetery. Data were analyzed by one-sample t-test, Pearson correlation coefficient, Spearman test, independent t test and one-way ANOVA. Findings: Considering the difference in average calculated from the hypothetical mean, the sacrificers were satisfied with the architecture, materials, physical arrangement and the degree of respecting the martyrs (p<0.05), but they were not satisfied with the facilities (p>0.05). The sacrificers were also negatively affected by re-organizing the martyrs' cemetery (p=0.0001). The level of education with the three variables: the physical satisfaction, the effectiveness in respecting the martyrs and the type of feeling toward re-organizing the martyrs' cemetery had reversed relationship. Birthplace and type of religion also made a significant difference in the evaluation of triple variables of satisfaction (p<0.05). Conclusion: Despite their satisfaction with the physical arrangement of the martyrs' cemetery, the sacrificers does not feel positive about the implementation of this plan, and this negative feeling is greater among followers of the Sunni religion compared to followers of the Shia religion. %> http://ijis.ir/article-1-25-en.pdf %P 61-65 %& 61 %! %9 Research %L A-10-25-4 %+ Social Sciences Faculty, Allameh Tabatabae’i University, Tehran, Iran %G eng %@ 9 %[ 2020
